Year three of my ride will likely start sometime in early May and take me north from southern Alberta following the eastern slopes, foothills and grassland of the Rocky Mountains. In September 2012, I was greatly honoured with membership in The Long Riders' Guild, the world's first international association of equestrian explorers and long distance travellers.
